Battle of the Bands

Family-Friendly 88.3 WAFJ is accepting entries from local musicians who want to compete in our Battle of the Bands.

From all the entries received, we'll select six bands for the competition. Each finalist will be invited to play at 88.3 WAFJ Family Fun Day at Steed's Dairy in Grovetown on Saturday, September 29th. 

That same day, voting will begin on our website to select one winning band who gets to open for the Francesca Battistelli concert on Friday, October 12th at First Baptist Church of North Augusta.


Here's what we're looking for:

We need a video of you and your band performing one song of your choice. We're looking for live music. No tracks, please. Sound quality will be very important. Upload your video to YouTube, and e-mail the video link to info@wafj.com. In the same e-mail please include the name of your band, names of band members, your hometown, a contact person and a phone number. 

We'll stop accepting entries when we receive 25 of them or on Tuesday, September 18th, whichever comes first. So, hurry and get your entry to us.
