John Bryant and Cleve Walker

John was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While working on the journalism staff in junior high school, he decided he wanted to become a television reporter. That desire changed during his college years when the Lord led him into Christian radio. Since 1999, John has worked in a variety of radio positions including on-air, production and marketing. His career began at Reality 101.1 in Birmingham and also includes time as a traffic reporter for Metro Networks of Birmingham. After leaving home, John spent three years at American Family Radio in Tupelo, Mississippi. He joined 88.3 WAFJ in 2004. John is married to Amy, and they live in Martinez. Cleve grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina and Cape Fear School of Theology. He has been in broadcasting since 1977 and joined 88.3 WAFJ after 12 years at Kicks 99.
