My brother just returned home from Afghanistan to be there for his newborn who has had 3 heart surgeries since birth and has finally overcome them only for them to find out he has severe brain damage and may never walk, talk or know who he is. Please lift them up.

I knew that one day my ex-husband's words would manipulate and pierce through the little heart of our son. I knew it would be hard, but I never imagined it would be this hard. I feel at a complete loss. The little boy I raised entirely on my own has now taken an interest in his voluntarily alienated father. I don't know what to think, what to say or even more, how to feel.

We need prayer for a situation with a neighbor who has threatened more than once to put out anti-freeze/poison under their home to kill stray animals they say are sleeping under there sometimes. They have threatened more than once and we are concerned for the animals in the neighborhood. I also ask prayer for their salvation so they won't have a desire to hurt another living thing.

Today is our 36th wedding anniversary. I want to thank God for giving us this time together. My husband is suffering with cancer and is a dialysis patient. Each day is a precious gift. If I could ask for a gift for him today, it would be a day of no nausea and to know I love him!

I have acute tendon damage in my arms and am supposed to avoid lifting anything. I am a stay-at-home mom with two kids under age three. Paying sitters to help me is getting very expensive.
