Cliffwood Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). We are reformed in our theology and reverential in our worship. Reverential in Worship. That means we are not a church that imitates the latest fads of worship. We are a church that is gathered to give praise to God and express this to him by singing his word with psalms and hymns, praying his word, displaying his word in the sacraments, and reading and preaching his word. God is holy and majestic, so we come to him with reverence and awe. Reformed in Theology. We are not man centered in our theology, but recognize the importance of the doctrines of grace (Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, Perseverance of the Saints). We believe covenant theology accurately expresses how God deals with his people throughout the timeline of redemptive history. vs. dispensationalism.
