Miracle Mile Walk
In light of Hurricane Helene's impact on our region, and in consideration of the extended strain on our first responders, community members and hospital as they begin to recover from this catastrophic event, Piedmont Augusta Foundation has made the decision to cancel the in-person portion of the Miracle Mile Walk, scheduled for Oct. 19, 2024.
The donation dropoff and T-shirt pickup on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Piedmont Augusta's Summerville campus will continue as planned. Raffle tickets will still be available for purchase until Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m., with the drawing to occur and winners announced on social media on Oct. 21.
While individuals and teams are welcome to continue to raise funds for the 2024 Miracle Mile Walk depending on their capacity, Piedmont Augusta recognizes the financial impact facing so many in this community. Most importantly we emphasize the WHY behind this critical fundraiser in its 24th year: 100% of the proceeds from the Miracle Mile Walk stay in this community to ensure that every woman has access to life-saving breast health screenings regardless of their ability to pay.
If you would still like to donate to the Miracle Mile you can do so here.
