Disaster Relief

Disaster Relief

As those in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma try to get their lives back together, they're going to need some help. We have identified several trusted non-profit organizations who are involved in relief efforts. Giving a donation to any of these groups listed below is wonderful way to help those who cannot help themselves:

Convoy of Hope: They are a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches and disaster response. www.convoyofhope.org

The Salvation Army: Their message is based on the Bible, their ministry is motivated by the love of God, and their mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as they meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Every program they offer is rooted in their passion to serve God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless. www.salvationarmyusa.org

Samaritan's Purse: They mobilize staff and equipment and enlists thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to victims of tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters in the United States. They often stay behind after their initial response to rebuild or restore houses for needy families. www.samaritanspurse.org

American Red Cross: From small house fires to multi-state natural disasters, the American Red Cross goes wherever they're needed, so people can have clean water, safe shelter and hot meals when they need them most. www.redcross.org
