A Work In Progress

Tuesday, January 11, 2022

View Full Post   Everywhere you look, there’s construction going on. I live in Grovetown, and every day twice a day, I drive by the road work and new buildings going up on Lewiston Road. It seems like they’ve been working on it FOREVER. Each day I drive by and can see evidence that work is being done; there are bulldozers, equipment and workers in hard hats & bright yellow safety vests. Yet, day after day, it doesn’t look like they’re any farther along than they were the day before...

I sometimes feel the pressures of mile-long to do lists overtake my joy. There are groceries to buy, meals to plan, family get-togethers to coordinate, schedules to arrange, gifts to buy, things to decorate - all while keeping up with usual day-to-day demands of life - and it can be VERY overwhelming.

A Gift That Keeps On Giving

Thursday, July 15, 2021

View Full Post   My Grandpa was a very talented artist and used to serve our church by painting a mural for Vacation Bible School every year. He's been in Heaven for eleven years now, but his gifts are still being used to bring glory to God and joy to others, and it makes my heart so full...
