It's Under His Control

Have you ever found yourself in a tight spot, wondering how you'd make ends meet or where your next meal would come from? It's in those moments of uncertainty that we often forget just how faithful God is in providing for us. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” This verse isn’t just a nice saying; it’s a promise. God sees our needs, and He’s always ready to step in, often in ways we least expect.

Maybe you've faced a sudden expense that felt overwhelming, or you’ve felt like you just can catch a break or get ahead financially. Sometimes there’s more month at the end of the money. I’ve been there more than once, but God has always made sure that I had what I needed. Whether it was through the generosity of a friend or some unexpected bonus, somehow the ends got met. Moments like these that remind us God’s timing is perfect. He knows exactly what we need, and often, it’s already on its way before we even realize it.

Physical needs are another area where God shows up. Think about it: when we’re feeling under the weather or just plain exhausted, it can be tough to see how we’ll get through the day. But God provides comfort and healing in so many ways. Little things like a kind word from a friend, or even just a good night’s sleep can give us the boost we need. In Matthew 6:26, Jesus tells us, “Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” If He cares for the birds, how much more will He care for us?

Putting the right people in your life at just the right time is another way that God provides for you. Have you noticed how just when you need encouragement or a listening ear, the right person seems to appear? That’s God at work, orchestrating connections and relationships. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” Whether it's a mentor guiding you in your career or a friend standing by you during tough times, God knows what you need and provides the right people at just the right moment.

The next time you’re not sure whether or not you can count on God to take care of you, remember that it's all under control - His control! He sees you, He hears you, and He’s already working to provide for your every need.
