Childcare Teacher

Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Create an environment in the classroom that promotes play-based learning and self-exploration. Prepare and conduct organized outdoor activities on a regular basis. Meet the children’s basic needs in a prompt manner. This includes but is not limited to feeding, diapering, cleaning, assisting with toileting and any other needs that may arise. Have a passion for working with children and early education. Must have a kid friendly attitude. Maintain a professional demeanor with parents, children, and staff at all times. Become familiar with state regulations and implement them in the classroom setting. Clean, sanitize and organize classroom or other locations in the facility on a daily routine basis or when prompted.

Qualifications:
Obtain and maintain current First Aid/CPR certification. Must successfully meet and maintain required screenings required by Bright From The Start Meet state licensing training hour requirements. Must have 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility and/or degree in early childhood development or related field. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for extended periods of time. Must be flexible with hours and be a team player. Must be dependable and reliable. Conduct other classroom or center duties as assigned.
