More Than Enough

Sometimes it feels like there’s just not enough — not enough time, money, energy or answers. We rush through the day, trying to stretch ourselves across responsibilities, relationships, and needs we can’t quite meet. But what if God doesn’t ask or expect us to be enough? What if He just asks us to trust that He is enough?
In 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT), God tells Paul, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”That’s a radical truth in a culture that glorifies self-sufficiency. God doesn’t expect you to have it all together. In fact, He often does His best work in the times & places where we feel the most inadequate.
Think about how God provided manna to the Israelites in the wilderness — just enough for each day (Exodus 16). Not a week’s supply. Just what they needed, when they needed it. In fact, if they tried to stash any of the manna, the leftovers would spoil the next day! God really wanted them (and us) to get the point: He will take care of us. He has all of our needs covered. He proved it then, and He’s still proving it today. Whether it’s emotional strength, financial provision, or wisdom for a decision — God is not withholding. He’s sustaining.
If you're feeling like you don't have enough for what’s in front of you, rest in this truth: you don’t have to — because He does. And He is faithful to give exactly what you need, in His perfect timing. Trust Him for today. And tomorrow? He’ll take care of you there, too.
