Beauty In Between
Posted on Oct 22, 2025 by Jenny Bender
There’s something about late October that feels like the “in-between.” Summer’s long gone, but Christmas still feels far off. The excitement of new beginnings has faded, yet the year’s not over. It’s that middle space where we tend to wonder—am I really getting anywhere?
Life has a lot of “middle chapters” like that. Maybe you’re in one right now—waitingon an answer, praying for change, or just trying to stay faithful when you can’t see how things will turn out. It’s tempting to think God’s gone quiet or that the story’s stalled. But Philippians 1:6 reminds us that He’s still working—right now, even here, even when it doesn’t look like much is happening.
Think about it: the middle of a story is rarely the most glamorous part. It’s full of tension, slow progress, and unanswered questions. But that’s also where character grows, where faith deepens, and where God often does His most transformative work. The same God who began something good in you hasn’t stopped writing. He’s not rushing the process—He’s perfecting it.
So if this season feels like the “in-between,” don’t lose heart. God hasn’t forgotten you! The middle may be messy, but it’s meaningful. And someday, you’ll look back and see how this season was necessary for God's perfect plan.
