4 Simple Steps To A Less Stressful Morning

We all have days when we're scrambling, running around in the mornings trying to get ready for our day and out the door on time. From picking out clothes to packing up lunches, it feels like there's never enough time! I definitely relate - that's why I was super excited to find four simple tips from a time management specialist that will help make your morning routine a lot less stressful. I've tried these this past week, and sure enough: it was a little effort with a lot of benefits! 

1. Ignore your phone in the mornings. We waste a LOT more time than we realize when we're on our phones. Checking emails can wait until you get to work, and staying off of social media can save you a ton of time in the mornings. 

2. If you're going to have the t.v. on while you're getting ready, choose a sitcom or 30-minute show to help you keep track of time - that way, you'll know that by the end of that episode, you need to be onto the next task. 

3. Pick out your outfit the night before. Maybe our parents were onto something when we were little and they told us to decide the night before what to wear the next day. 

4. If you need to take anything with you, have it all packed and by the door the night before! Packing lunch, have it all ready to go and bagged up in the fridge so that you can grab & go in the morning!
