Busy Behind The Scenes

Have you ever felt like your story is over before it really begins? Like you've messed up too much, missed too many chances, or you're too far behind to catch up? It’s easy to believe that our mistakes or delays have disqualified us. But here’s the truth: God’s not done with you. Not even close. Philippians 1:6 reminds us, "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." God doesn’t start something and walk away. If He began a work in you, He’s staying with it. Through the mess. Through the waiting. Through it all.

Think about Moses. At 40, he fled Egypt in shame. For the next 40 years, he herded sheep in the wilderness. That could’ve been the end of his story, but at 80, God called him back—not just to return, but to lead a nation out of slavery. (Exodus 3). It's never too late when God's in the story. Your wilderness doesn’t mean you’re finished; sometimes, it’s just preparation ground. God often uses the seasons we’d rather skip to shape us into the people we need to be for the next chapter.

Maybe right now you're in a season where nothing seems to be moving. Doors feel closed. Prayers feel unanswered. But remember, just because you don’t see progress doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Like a seed growing underground, there's movement even in silence. Hang in there! God is busy behind the scenes of your story. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Keep showing up. Keep trusting Him. He's doing something even if you can't see it yet.

So today, take heart. Your story isn't over. God doesn't waste seasons, and He certainly doesn't waste people. If you’ve still got breath, then He’s still got purpose. Lean in, keep going, and trust that the Author of your life is still writing—beautifully, intentionally, and with the end already in mind.
