Description:
Position Summary: This position exists to integrate faith-based (Biblical principles) and secular-based short-term therapeutic solutions to clients seeking counseling at the CCC Care & Counseling ministry, with the intent of facilitating connection/reconnection into the community as quickly as possible. This is a part-time position of up to 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements & Experience: • Master’s in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy with an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license. • At least 5 years of counseling experience Personal Characteristics required for the job: • Christ follower with a proven track record for helping broken people • Active listener, able to meet clients where they are without judgment • Active in a local church • High energy, self-starter • Empathic and resourceful to find best solutions for individuals/families • Courageous and willing to get into “muck & mire” with clients
