Pastor (Full Time OR Part Time)

Description:
Living Hope Fellowship, a family-oriented, non-denominational, evangelical church located in Aiken, SC is looking for a Spirit-filled and energetic pastor to shepherd our small but growing congregation. We are relatively new, but are very blessed to have interited a multi-building church facility that can accommodate much growth. This position can also be part-time to allow for flexibility with candidate's schedule. For more information on our church and what we believe, please refer to the Who We Are page on our website, as well as our Articles of Faith.  Duties: As he seeks the Lord through  dedicated prayer and careful study of Scriptures, the pastor, with assistance from the elders and/or deacons of the church will: Help seek, develop and administer the Lord's vision for the church Teach and preach from the Scriptures Minister to the congregation with awareness of individual needs, encouraging spiritual maturity and understanding of individual roles in the work of the church Help oversee Sunday morning service and worship activities, youth and children's ministries, discipleship groups and Bible studies Help oversee other church activities, such as prayer meetings, neighborhood outreach and missions efforts, and special events Help facilitate cooperation and partnership with other community churches & organizations Help encourage and develop individuals called to ministry Provide input into church budgeting and finances Assist with church discipline 

Qualifications:
Candidate needs to have a heart for young people, a passion for Jesus’s Kingdom, and the ability to lead and inspire others. A bachelor’s degree with some theological training is preferred but not required.
