Miracle Mile Walk

Join 88.3 WAFJ and April Sather from the Morning Show, as we join the fight against breast cancer at the 25th Miracle Mile Walk on Saturday, October 18th from 8:00-11:00AM at the Augusta Common (836 Reynolds Street).

Form your own team or join April's Army. April from the Morning Show is a three-year breast cancer surviver. If you'd like to join her team to walk for 3 miles of fun, please email her at april@wafj.com.

The Miracle Mile Walk supports Piedmont Augusta's Randy W. Cooper, M.D., Center for Breast Health Services and mobile mammography unit, providing lifesaving screenings to women in our community regardless of their ability to pay. The mobile unit has seen women from 25 counties in Georgia & South Carolina, has done over 90,000 screenings and diagnosed over 404 cancers.

7:30 a.m. Donation drop off & store opens

8:00 a.m. Pre-walk Program

9:00 a.m. Walk Starts

10:00 a.m. Post-walk Celebration
