Description:
Provide "last mile" delivery to homes and businesses in the CSRA. Lambert Logistics Corporation out of Martinez, GA is a contracted service provider to FedEx. As such, we currently drive 22 trucks daily. Due to COVID demands and the organic growth of e-commerce, we are looking to increase our driver work force to approximately 30 positions. FedEx has required all service providers to deliver packages 7 days per week, therefore we are in the unfortunate position of having to drive on Sundays. Any new potential candidates must be available to work on Sundays. Furthermore, a typical work week consists of 4-5 days but could be asked to work 6 days on occasion or even 7 as the need arises.
Qualifications:
MUST be dependable and available to work on days scheduled -- NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS MUST be able to lift 75 lbs. from the floor MUST have a good attitude and be willing to learn MUST have a good motor vehicle record MUST be able to pass a background check MUST be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen MUST be trustworthy and able to work effectively without someone watching over you MUST be able to work late hours, especially during peak season (Thanksgiving - New Years) ONLY serious applicants please.
